Maths: we learned about cubes and cuboids and we tr to make our letter in cuboids. BI: we learned about indonesia and we write report about the book we get. English: we make draft for the shape book. Ict: we make comic life about the limited resources. dancing: in dancing aster and anggrek perform their dance to the visitor from othe IB school. Arts : we make maps of our country. Sport: in sport we learn gymnastic. I like maths the most because its the fun and challenging. my inquiry project goes well, and im still typing. Kartini celebration: in kartini day we have lots os fun year 1-3 do the fashion show. 4-6 do the descriptive writing competition and jovan win the competition.

Maths:We learn how to make 3D cubes and cuboids. We also learned how to make our name with cubes and cuboids Bahasa:We made a story about our indonesia book English:We are making the draft of shape book Ict:We're still working on our comic life Dancing:We still danced like usual but the group aster and anggrek dance to the audience first Arts:We drew our own country map, mine is IRAN Sports:We learned how to roll, but many people fail and make their back hurts Inquiry:We make our country book and passport. I just need a little of research and finishing my book Kartini celebration:We have lots of fun. Jovan is the winner for descriptive writing from year 5, Brigitta won for the kartini cilik contest, ad fr the fashion show there are los of people joining but i thnk fredy's part was the funniest In this week I have learned alot of things. It's quite making me tired and stress but it's fun!

Math: We are studying about and cuboids, and also we draw our names by drawing cuboids. I've learned how to draw cuboids
English: We should make an imaginary adventure story and make it into a shape book.
I C T: still continuing the comic life
Dancing: still studying the movements (traditional dance)
Arts: We're making a map of our country on a wax paper, first we draw the lines first then we draw the shape of the country. I've learned how to make the map of the country correctly
Sports: this unit we're learning gymnastic
-I like dancing and sports the most because it is very fun and exciting
-My inquiry progress: my inquiry project is almost finished, I just need to add some pictures and a little bit of information
-Kartini celebration: it's not quite fun, we only have a writing competition and other competitions for the lower primaries


 

Unit6_Week2_Alfachri_22-04-12

At the second week in math we studied about cubic and cuboid and also finding cubic and cuboid around the school. In BI we make a book about a place around Indonesia, I get Palembang for this project. In ICT we make a comic using comic life, it is combined with BI and arts. In dancing we learned the traditional dance. In art we must make a map according to what country you get, I get South Korea. In sport we learned how to roll. I've learned many things about South Korea so far, sports and dancing is my favorite lesson because it is fun and a little bit challenging. So far in inquiry project i have done many researches and I have done some pages. At Kartini celebration there is a fashion show, writing about my "Kartini" inspiration and many more.

In week 2 we did a lot of activities, in maths, we study about cubes and cuboids and we hunt cuboids around the school and draw it then we write the volume. In BI, we make a 3-paged book about a book of a place in Indonesia, I got Desa Kokonao in Papua. in English, we started to make our shaped book about  a story of a journey of in a Country in Asia. in ICT we finished making our comic life project. In dancing class, Aster and Anggrek group (which is me) perform a traditional dance for the opening of the IB schools around Asia meeting. In arts, we draw a map of our country in Asia but we need to make grids first to make it easier. And in sports, we did some aerobics like rolling. My favorite activity is when I do the traditional dance. For the Inquiry project, I've finished my book, just need a little more decoration though. And I win the description writing on Kartini Day!

Unit 6_week 2_Arya_22/4/12

In maths class we need to hunt for cubes in the school, we should draw it, cut it, and stick it tothe colored paper. and we need to write what we found, what ski,ls,steps,and the general info about cubes in the A 3 paper.in bahasa class we need to read a book and write you're favorite part of the book.in english class we need to make a story. In ict class we need to continue our comic life. In dancing class we practice our dance.in arts we need to draw our countrie's map.in sport we should roll. I learned that we should never give up in making the map or many thing else.i like sports and dancing because it is fun. My inquiry progress is great beacause i have done the research and i have done the book but not yet the cover. It is fun celebrating kartini. And i join the kartini fashion show. I think fredy is the funniest at the fashion show.

Unit 6_week 2_Bianca_21/4/12

In maths we study cubes and cuboids  now from learning cubes and cuboids i can draw them perfectly before it was far away to messy even i ripped it and throw it into the rubbish bin  . I also draw my names in cubics it was so fun .then we have to count the volume.In bahasa lesson we have to read a book about anak nusantara . Mine is yogyakarta i have to telll about yogyakarta and life there.In english lesson we have to make a shape book inside we have to input informations about maldives . It have similarities between english and inquiry but is still not the same though.In ict lesson we make comic life we continue the bi and art project i am already finished from the last 2 weeks i finished a little longer because some of my photo are missing but the end i have it.In dancing leson i still continue t dance the same last time.In sports i do gymnastic i am a little scared because i never do it before but i tried soon i still do the rolling not in the right path but i tried and i do it straightly hooray.My favourite activities in this weeek os dancing i love dancing since i was so small .yesterday briggitta joins the kartini cilik then she wons i want to congratulate briggitta her mommy should be so proud of her.

Unit 6_ week 2_Erick_21/4/12

In Math we have learn about cube and cuboids, and we will have a test next Friday about it. In Bahasa lesson, we have learn about people live in Indonesia, so we know what do they do?, what's the transportation in there? and many else. In English lesson we must to make a shape book about the country that we have chosen and we must search what's the myths and many else. In ICT lesson we have made a comic life in a computer and it's was very fun to do it. In dancing lesson, we have perform our dance to the visitor that come to our school (teacher), but unfortunately i don't come at that day because i'm sick. In arts lesson we have made a map, we have draw our country in it. In Sport lesson we have learn a gymnastic, i like gymnastic more because i have an acking body :). My progress in Inquiry good, because i almost done with my inquiry project. Yesterday we celebrate Kartini day, it was so fun when my friend Fredy join the fashion show.

in maths we learn cube and cuboid. We have a activity that is called cube and cuboid around the school. in that activity we have to find cube and cuboids that is inside the school. in bahasa we learn about the people that live around indonesia so we know how live there and how they do things over there.in english we have to make a shape book about the country that we already chosen. in ICT we make a comic with the programme comiclife . in dancing we are still not finish with the song and the dance move. in arts we are making a map that is the map of the country we choose. in sports this week we are learning how to roll over and it is gymnastic. i have learn a lot of thing from this unit i learn how to make cube and cuboid on dot paper and also learn how to make maps and others. the activity i like the most is when english and dancing in dancing it was a lot of fun dancing our traditional dance and in english i like to make a story. my inquiry progress is not yet finish i just already make a few page and not yet decorate the book. in kartini celebration we have a competition and we also have a fashion show and a kartini cilik we also potong tumpeng  and listen about kartini history and there is a quiz after we are done with watching the kartini history.

in bahasa indonesia class we read a book, each of us got a different book but it's similar and then we need to make something like a report.i like to make it but i hate my second page.
in english class we read our reading books,have a spelling test, make a shape book,
in ICT class we need to finish our comic life,i think it's reallyyy fun but i hate it when we are taking photos and making all the props on BI class -___-
in dancing class my group continue our dance, at first it was hard but now it was really fun,i love the dancing class because it's fun when we jump into the bamboo
in arts class we make a map acording to our country, i don't like making the lines because it's tricky and it's boring.

our activities in math is to hunt a object that is like a cube and cuboid.we should make a book the tittle is cube and cuboids around the school.
In Bahasa indonesia we have to make stories about our book that we get from the class.
in English we have to make our own  story about, our region country.
in ICT we make a comic life.
in dancing lesson i dance a traditional dance form Ambon.
in arts lesson one class have to make our own region map.
sport,in sport lesson we do a gymnastic example:rolling,and windmill.

first in inquiry we have to collect full information about your region country,second you have to make your own passport for your region country,third make your own booklet about your region country,fourth you make your own  stand of your region country,fifth make the properties that you need for your region stand.



we had a flag ceremony katini mothers  day and the most fun thing is the FASHION SHOW,"because fredy is sooooo coool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

in the school this morning we celebrate the kartini day the first thing that we do is have a flag  ceremony that lead by the year 5 student and the second thing we do  are have a fashion show , speech , a performance from 1,2,3 and cut" tumpeng" is a lot of fun and we also have" kartini cilik" the winner is from year 5 my friend briggi

In English lesson, we made a  narrative story in which the story tell us about the experience in the country that we got before. For ICT, we made a comic using a comic life program then, we inserted the picture and edited the photo and it combined with Bahasa Indonesia. In math we learned about cubes and cuboids. When the first time I learned to make cubes and cuboids it was really hard , but it becomes easier after I try for many times and we also made a book about cubes and cuboids things around the school and it was fun. Then,  I also learned. In dancing aster and anggrek  we presented to IB teacher the name of the song is "alusia" and it was so fun. In art we made a replica of a map of our country and  it was hard . In sport we learned about GYM elastic is hard until my head and back hurt very much.

Maths We studied cubes and cuboids in maths lesson I have learned that making a cube is not really hard and also you need concentration to make cubes you have to have a straight line English We studied about folktales and myths and also stories from our country that we have chosen I chose Indonesia so,first we need to research about stories,folktales,and myths,then we make a story in book called a shape book I have learn a and know what is the stories,folktales, and also legends about Indonesia.:D Bahasa Indonesia We studied about some countries in Indonesia I got woitombo it was in Sulawesi tenggara and we put some information to 1 paper then we color and decorate it ms Lenny and also ms massy made a big map of Indonesia then we put the information in the certain places:p Arts We studied how to make a map in arts first of all we need to make a square lines then we need to be sure it's straight line and then we need to make the same shape in the map of your country I've learned that making a map is Hard because people make it with accuracy. Dance We dance a traditional dance you need to focus because it is hard if you don't focus because you will be confuse if You don't focus what I've learn is that traditional dance is hard and we have to appreciate our (Indonesia)traditional dance such as from Bali,Kalimantan,and such. Sports We studied about gymnastic in sports it is easy because I already can do the roll what I have learn is that we have to do sport gymnastic to because we need to stretch our bode and so don't get hurt on your certain part of your body. We also have fun in martini day although I didn't win it's still fun.

In bahasa lesson we have to make a small "booklet" to tell about kehidupan anak nusantara. Mine is Lampung and i have to tell what is lampung from a book.
In english lesson we have to make a shape book about our imaginary journey to the country we chose in Inquiry. My rough draft is finished! Horaayy :D
In ICT lesson we have to continue the comic life hehehehe and i'm finished!
In dancing lesson we have to PERFORM(asteranggrek) it is very challenging and fun to dance infront of the IB school coordinators in asia pacific! thank goodness! we have everything in the right path and situation!
in sports we have gymnastics. We have to roll front! when its my turn to roll i'm scared at first but thanks to Vania and Erin they encourage me to!
my favorite activity this week is dancing! i am really proud of myself that i can dance infront of the IB coordinators in the asia pacific1
and oyaa, today is the kartini day celebration! we have some activities today! I join the fashion show with Brigitta!and congrats to brigi for winning the kartini cilik!

newsletter unit 6 week 2 _ emil-20.04.12

In maths time we learn how to draw in 3D with cubes and cuboids, we draw our name with cubes and it is really fun we need to be really careful because is really tricky but i finished it in time !!
In bahasa lesson we make a book info about the book that ms.Massy gave and i got papua after we write all the info from the book, we copy the writing that is important to the paper, that already given by ms.Massy after that we stick the paper into the asturo then we put the asturo in the map to be display.
In english lesson we make a shape book and it is really independence work we need to finish it in time the project is we need to make a story that related about our country and i got Cambodia and the story will put on the shape book, the shape book must be creative so people would like to see.
In ICT lesson we make comic life the comic life must finish in 4 days and it has to be nice and interesting.
In dancing lesson we are teach by bu.Indah she teach us traditional dancing and my group got Ambon it is really hard and more complicated than the other group and we will present the dancing in MAY !!
In arts lesson we make a map about our country and mine is Cambodia we really need to be patient because if we wrong the paper will be dirty, but i think i do a great job.
In sports lesson we do gymnastic it is really hard because we really need to be careful because your body may hurt and you need to be balance with your body.
I like dancing most because is really challenging and we need to be focus or else bu.Indah will mad.

there are so many competitions on kartini day. our class won the kartini cilik! and, jovan won the descriptive writting about our kartini.

we did lots of fun this week and, i like the kartini day it was fun and many people use different of batik and some of traditional clothes

It has been a lone enjoying holiday, and school grab us back! On this unit, we're talking about Asia. Each student is decided to pick countries around Asia. Well, I pick Bahrain. I've been searching info's about my country for our new Inquiry project this week. Oh, and we also make passports (a fake one).

In this unit, we have to do a project about countries in Asia.My country is Syria.We all have different countries. We have to search infos about the country we chose,example, the culture, languages,etc. We will make a booth about our country, and there's gonna be a tour around Asia (not as fancy as it hears -____-")We are going to travel around Asia BOOTHS. Of course, we gonna need a passport and a stamp for immigration XD. We make our passport n stamp, according to our countries that we chose, e.g: I chose Syria so my nationality/passport is going to be from Syria and the stamp is going to be something that represents Syria. Well, I think that's all we did this week!
